April 22nd – David Fekke Presents OWIN, the Open Web Interface for .NET

image_thumb726David Fekke runs the node.js usergroup here in Jacksonville and will be discussing the benefits of the OWIN and the Katana Project.
Read below for some background and resources for getting up to speed if you’re not already familiar with this open source technology.

OWIN defines a standard interface between .NET web servers and web applications. The goal of the OWIN interface is to decouple server and application, encourage the development of simple modules for .NET web development, and, by being an open standard, stimulate the open source ecosystem of .NET web development tools.
