event_195931782Hello everyone! I’m Mat Somers. On January 10th I somehow managed to pass the 70-480 Microsoft Cert Exam ‘Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3’!
To practice JavaScript I used Knockout with Visual Studio and jsFiddle.

KnockoutJS is a JavaScript MVVM framework that provides developers with a robust toolset including declarative bindings, dependency tracking, and advanced templating.
My presentation will go beyond ‘Hello World’ to present a web/mobile application using jQuery Mobile that goes nicely to our awesome February 25th presentation another HTML5/JavaScript framework – Telerik’s Kendo UI!

Speaking of Telerik, we will have our usual drawings for MindScape, JetBrains, and Telerik Ultimate Licenses at the conclusion of our meeting, and big thanks to TEK Systems once again for sponsoring pizza at our event. Reminder: The meeting begins at 6:00 PM (networking), 6:30 PM (presentation)
