August 27th – Team Foundation Service with Sean Mackey

Fresh from the Code on the Beach conference earlier this month we welcome Sean Mackey!

His presentation on TFS will include:

A summary of TFS offline and online Overview of TFService functional areas Identification of TFService documentation and help resources Walk through of the TFService interface Review of an inprogress real-world project in TFS Insight into the pain-points of transitioning from a waterfall-based team to an agile team using TFS.

Sean Mackey is a senior .NET developer working at The Energy Authority in Jacksonville, FL USA. Sean has over 10-years of real world experience building software; all with companies in the energy sector. Sean has in B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota; he is actively pursing his M.S. in Software Engineering at the University of North Florida. Through education and experience, Sean has developed a special skill set across development, architecture, testing, and project management functional areas. In his spare time, Sean enjoys spending time with friends and family, enjoying hoppy beers, and investing in his Xbox live reputation.
