Mobile computing is a game changer. But its use case is such a radical departure from traditional desktop computing that we see the emergence of unexpected simple elegant solutions and some fairly cumbersome overly complex solution. In this presentation, Dylan Phillips will go over his journey from Augmented Reality Guru to Native App Dude to HTML5 convert and finally back to Augmented Reality Guru. He will also touch on lessons that he has learned starting his business and opportunities he sees in the near and medium term.

Bio: Dylan Phillips is a software engineer and architect who has been working in the mobile space for the last 10 years. With a broad range of experiences, from J2ME to .NET Compact Framework to Android, he is incredibly excited about the opportunity presented by the broad consumer adoption of an array of Android / iPhone and Windows Phone devices.

Here are the slides from Dylan’s awesome presentation.
