Chris Madrid and Larry Mead, two senior Microsoft consultants, will present strategies for migrating to the Azure cloud Operating System, as well as break down the costs and benefits assosicated with that migration.

Larry Mead’s Session Summary:

Like any new technology, knowing how and where to start is important with Windows Azure and SQL Azure. This session will cover the types of applications that best take advantage of Windows Azure and SQL Azure features. Additionally, the session will cover what to be careful of when qualifying a potential application for Azure. The session will also cover strategies for moving to Azure for different types of application architectures. Finally, there will be an Azure demonstration and a review of field experiences.
