What: Dave Strommer: Introduction to OData

Open Data Protocol, OData, is an open web protocol for querying and updating data.  The protocol emerged from experiences implementing AtomPub clients and servers.  OData is used to expose and access information from a variety of sources including, but not limited to, relational databases, file systems, content management systems and traditional Web sites.

At the meeting, we’ll cover what is OData, where it came from, how it works and what problems it solves.

Once again, we thank TEK Systems for sponsoring our meeting!
